Before you know it, you’ll be walking through the doors of Oz. More enchanting than the Emerald City, there will be lively entertainment, a delicious dinner, the excitement of live and silent auctions, and decorations that would make even the Munchkins proud. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet the many faces of our participants as we showcase our programs through this year’s new auction video
Your support allows the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) to continue to provide quality recreational programming, qualified staff, specialized equipment, needed scholarships, and ensure that the cost of programs stay low.

Hall of Fame
Congratulations to Bill McCormack on being selected the Western DuPage Special recreation (WDSRA)
Foundation’s 2010 Hall of Fame Inductee.
McCormack’s support for WDSRA has remained steadfast over the course of many, many years. He has lent his time and talents by providing fabulous balloon creations for the annual WDSRA auction and several other events. With creations such as a 30 ft Chinese balloon dragon hanging from the ceiling his vision has always provided the ‘wow’ factor.
McCormack’s dedication flows through a variety of countless events throughout the entire year. He is a regular at the Women’s Golf Outing not just sponsoring a hole but actually hosting the ‘Beat the Balloon Guy’ hole to raise money for the agency. He is a regular, along with his foursome, at the newly renamed Charlie Long/WDSRA Golf Classic every year since inception. McCormack has even gone so far as to jump out of an airplane at 13,000 ft for WDSRA. Both he and his daughter, Erin, skydived in the WDSRA Jump-A-Thon.
