For children, teens and adults – ages 5+.
Looking for a great way to express yourself?

Why not tap into your creative side. You can learn a new talent or develop an existing one. Be a part of a team with TROOP Drama or work on your own with Ceramics. You’ll be sure to find something with so many choices.

Program Segments

Find inspiration, learn new art techniques, or experiment with different mediums to create your very own masterpiece. You may even have your artwork displayed in local galleries, libraries or park districts.

Learn the latest steps or the classics like ballet and tap. You’ll have fun whether learning the basics or something more challenging. Dancers may be featured in the annual Performing Arts Recital.

Let your inner actor shine with TROOP Drama. TROOP performs two productions (plays or musicals) a year in front of a live audience.

Find your voice with a one-on-one instruction or learn to play an instrument. We offer lessons for voice and piano. All musicians may be featured in the annual Musical Showcase.

Get familiar with the basics at your very own kitchen station. Check out the specialty classes like Cooking 101 or Delectable Desserts where you make all your favorites.

Produce an original 30 minute show airing on the local Comcast access channel. Learn videotaping, camera work and interviewing in Comcast/NBC Universal’s professional studio. This program is in collaboration with Comcast/NBC Universal.
